Hope you can stand one more Kiwi Full Monty,or should I say 3? The two on the right side were planted in 2007,2008,and I liked them so much,I planted a third one in 2009,but,as you can see,it has some catching up to do! I notice quite a difference between mine and HH's.His must be grown in a lot of shade? Phil

Thanks for showing the Krossa Regals, I copied the pictures into a special file for me. I believe I have an older one. I bought two last year, actually another one at the Society sale, but that was labeled wrong. I have to see which inbetween the Elegans and Blue Umbrellas is that older Krossa Regal. Bernd

Phil, If you'd not ID'd yours as KFM I'd have said it was Striptease. Many years ago I was convinced that 'color' is an art, not a science, even with today's modern electronics. Your shot shows more green margin, ours more blue, and that's the main difference between KFM and Striptease, eh? It doesn't take too many perusals of different shots of the same cultivar on hostalibrary to see this! Some of the shots there are downright horrific as regards 'color temperature'. Of course, there is always the issue of light level, or even, perhaps, soil chemistry. Besides the source (camera), the display monitors have varying color accuracies, waaaa. Viva la difference ;-) Or not, teehee. hh

This is Krossa Regal last spring following its fifth transplant in 4 years. We are very excited this year to see KR grow without being disturbed.

HH,I have two Striptease hosta, and they never grow as fast as KFM does. The one I have was planted in 2005,and has never approached KFM in growth habits. They look like first-year plants, compared to these two. Phil
