Somehow it doesn't have the same ring... Many hosta tags have descriptions on them saying "heart-shaped". Many don't look like hearts to me, but Luuk's photo certainly does.

Hi Kathy and Jo, yes this veggie creature is mine, is a seeding of last year, Clear Fork River Valley, ...one of my favorites

This is the mother plant that I had already posted.

Lovely baby heart, Luuk (and momma heart). Reminded me of a very heart-shaped epimedium in last year's garden. I hope she returns.

Luuk, Clear Fork River Valley is certainly a champion hosta. I have no trouble identifying it from clear across the garden. I'm into the "heart" hosta....with heart in the name. Too bad Pure Heart is taken, so is Candy Heart, but let's hope this baby grows up as much a winner as its mama....with heart in its name or not!

I hope your seedling grows up to be great, Luuk. As with 'Clear Fork River Valley', maybe it will be WRINKLY and BUMPY, much like it's parent...(C'mon Ken, low-hanging fruit here.) : )
