I am very sorry for your loss. My brother passed last year, and we were very close. No other relative shares the same heritage as siblings.

I have one named Three Sisters, for my granddaughters (3) and my nieces (3). If you are one of three, this could work.

Also I have one called Mary Marie Ann, which is still a young plant showing an interesting leaf

My condolences, Peggy. My sister Mary died twelve years ago from a ten- year battle with cancer. H. 'Mary Marie Ann' is one I was going to recommend as well as that is the one I chose. Whenever I come across a hosta that bears the name of someone I love, I buy it. I'm up to three now.

Thank you all. I tried h. Mary Marie Ann several years ago and ironically it withered away to nothing last summer. I'll give her second chance this year- if it ever warms up!

I looked at the hosta registrar for hosta with Mary in the name. (The list is below.) You can look them up on the Hosta Library to see what you like. It seems from the Hosta Finder that Jim's and Wade Gatton have the most Mary plants.
