Bronze Age hosta

Does anyone know any history of this hosta.Is it a sport,TC,crossed with another plant? Are the leaves really red/bronze and does it keep that color all year?All I have heard is that it is property of Terra Nova but I have not heard anything else.Questions,questions,questions.

It is a seedling from their hybridizing program. From what I've heard, the red coloring is heat sensitive so it is mostly a spring phenomenon. Then the plant would be the base color...I think there is both a gold and green form.

Bronze Age was the building block of Terra Nova's red hostas. I think they have better hybrids now.
