EAT THEM?????? i I can't even look at them!! We have them, but they don't get that big, thankfully! I haven't figured out what earthly thing they are good for, unless we have to have something to just lie there and look gross! Oh yuk!!!

Yes. And though I do like a good escargot, I haven't tried slugs... yet. Although, given the state of the dollar, you never know.
