Very nice seedlings. But lights should be 1 inch above leaves. Soil surface is light in color, are you watering enough? Bernd

Yeah, I've seen that eyeroll, myself. When I exclaimed, "I have Pips!", the DH stood there a second and then said, "oh....hosta".

They just don't get it.

@ Ken - I got a late start on last year's crop (and I was feeling lazy by the time September rolled around... more the later than the former). I overwintered them in on my outdoor patio under a coffee table covered with a protective cover. If it doesn't work... oh well, lesson learned.

@ Bernd - Thanks for the tip. The lights normally sit just over the seedlings but for installation and the photo I had the existing light off-center.
