Favorite Medium Yellow?

I read the recent post on large yellow hostas, but I'm looking for a medium size yellow or bright chartreuse/variegated plant to go in between and in front of a Krossa Regal and Avacado. I'd like something bright to contrast with those plants. But it can't get too large.

I was thinking Rainforest Sunrise or Paradise Island?

Anyone have a medium size yellow/mostly yellow/chartreuse plant that stays attractive most of the summer and they really love and would recommend?

How much sun will they get?

Paradise Island will be green by June, even if it's in bright sun.

My favorite medium yellow is Mister Watson, it comes up green but turns yellow.

Full sun from 8am to 12 noon or so. Filtered sun from 12 to 1pm.

Gesila - I did some googling, cause I'm not familiar with Watson. Will Mister Watson turn parchment-colored always, or only if it gets a ton of sun?

Paul_in_mn - I love Rainbow's End. I'll add that to my list. Grand Tiara makes sense. I already have Golden Tiara. Actually, maybe I'll go for Grand Prize, cause it's one generation even more yellow. Have you tried that one?

August Moon, has puckered roundish yellow leaves, is a very good grower. I always find a place to fit in another division.

August Moon would probably get too big.

I am not sure how big my Dick Ward will get, but oh man is it a strong vivid colored plant. Here is the latest photo of it, from this spring. It is now in a container, but grew in the ground until last fall, this is its 3d year.

Then Faith stays pretty yellow they say

Several years ago I purchased Golden Friendship, a small-medium which emerges green, then stays yellow the rest of the season. I LOVE the shape of the leaves which are somewhat waxy and do not seem to be bothered by pests.

Here is a link that might be useful: Ck out Golden Friendship in Hosta Library

Dancing Queen is a great canary yellow leaved hosta that keeps it's color all summer and is a medium sized plant with beautiful rippled leaves.

Scott- Do you have a photo of your Dancing Queen in late Summer? My Dancing Queen is a lovely chartreuse now, but goes more green(but very bright)green in about another month. I used to have Hadspen Samphire which would knock your socks off in Spring. Up early and like pale yellow flames. But, alas, it turned to a very ordinary looking green later on. Dancing Queen never looks "ordinary". Good.

Here it is today with Clovelly and Diana Remembered.

    Paradise Island turns green early.

Fire Island hangs on awhile, but eventually turns a light green, even in sun. And its leaves are thin, so it burns in lots of sun.

Rainforest Sunrise starts out green but the leaf centers lighten to a beautiful gold, and with thick leaves it takes the sun like a champ.

I second everyone's vote for Dancing Queen. Frilly, pretty and medium sized. And maintains it's color in some sun.
