Streakers would have higly variable leaf coloring, that is no leaf would be the same on a plant. Your plant seems to have all leaves colored the same way, are green with cream margins, so does not look like a streaker. For a streaker as an example, look at hosta 'Blue Lightning' in the Hosta Library. Bernd

yes....i growv(and maintain) a few different streakers. this one is streaked too.....perhaps not showing well on your monitor.....i will get better pics

Thanks. I thought the parent plant might be a 'Patriot' (they were unlabeled) at first but now I am thinking maybe 'Carnival' as the leaves have a bit of drawstring and burning on the edges. Still nicely streaked though and I will keep an eye on it. My Hostas in the ground are still just emerging here in NJ. I found a 'Blue Angel' streaked sport last year and planted 'Blizzard' (purchased) last year so I am keeping fingers crossed they come up ok. I have a couple of other streakers that are well established and I worry less about.
