| I have the opportunity to be in Rochester, MN on May 19th and I noticed the Shades of Green Hosta Society is having their annual plant sale. I'm just wondering if anyone here has ever attended this annual sale - is it worth a 5 hour drive? Thanks! |

| I've never been there even though it's only about a one-hour drive, but I'm happy to make a comment so this post won't sit at the top like an orphan. I suspect it's a pretty nice show, but five hours is a long drive. |

| I also live about an hour north.... not terribly far from esox. I've been to sales by the MN Hosta Society. It's not worth a 5 hour drive. But if you're going to be in Rochester anyway, then sure, drop by. Shades of Green is hosting the Midwest Convention this year, so they'd probably appreciate the support. If you're driving down 35 or 52 and want a diversion, let me know. I'm happy to host visitors, if it fits into my crazy schedule! |
