| Beautiful pictures and great hosta! And I was so glad to see an example of something I am getting ready to do- using rocks as nameplates. I swear, I have spent as much money on tags as I have on hosta in the last five years! I am pulling out my third set, metal plates on thin stakes. I have big feet and my dog also has big feet. We walk through the garden and either smash or pull up the stakes. With rocks I figure that we will probably just push then further into the mulch. I got some fine-point markers at an artist's store that will mark stone and says permanent. So I hope they last in weather. chris |
