My wonderful husband decided to move this hosta from its original location and ended up losing the plant marker.
Clues to the identification: this hosta did not have an English name (i.e. Paul's Glory, Wide Brim), it was purchased from Wayside in the late '90s or early 00's (and at the time I thought it was rather expensive), it does not spread quickly, and it's always the last one to peek out of the soil (as I stand over its site, praying for its return).
We are moving and it has now been potted and is waiting for a new home at our new home.
Any clue as to its name would be much appreciated.
