What's up with Halcyon?

I got this small division of Halcyon thrown in with an order last year. I don't remember what it looked like last year, it was a little tike, but it's up this year and has been for several weeks and no blue in sight? What's the deal? What are the habits of Halcyon, regarding coloring up? All of my other blues have been blue for weeks, this looks like a greenie to me! Not in any amount of sun, by the way.

and yes, I know it's too crowded. It's not staying there, just needed a spot of dirt for it to get some size on it before figuring out where it would live, long-term. If it stays this color, I think it might live in the back of the border!

Since we are in the same zone and vicinity I thought I'd share the Halcyon I just moved to a spot last week along with June. Mine is very blue, so I am thinking that yours is not Halcyon.

Funn, I went outside to take a pic of June's blue sport (Halcyon) which I separated last year. It should definitely be showing blue when emerging, regardless of zone, you think?

Lol...I ran out of pots, ran out of media, ran out of steam because . . . . This blue sport was shoved in with a piece of June after all. I think this was the last pot I potted last fall. I think I'm a good example of having lost my "best before date" . . . Too many senior moments, lol

Funn, It doesn't look like Halcyon to me either. Mine is still blue in Texas. Also, mine has more strap shaped leaves than yours. Mine is young, though.
