Good luck! I know what it's like to deal with clay and rock, am glad most of the beds are now good dirt.

If you have a lot of clay, dig deep so the water has somewhere to drain. Having rocks mixed in will help with the drainage, too. And DON"T amend with spagham moss.

well here is how im amending..i guess its not amending its..moving as much clay out as possible...I remove the clay...added some miracle grow potting soil....turkey crap compost...some cow manure compost that's got a lot of sand in it...and some leaf gro.......then mulch over all of that after planting
