Regal Splendor Flirting

Don't know that I'd call it sporting, since I seem to have a few odd leaves on Regal Splendor every year. All leaves on this division are a little different with smallest leaf having a very wide margins - gonna leave it in place and check again next year.

I adore Regal Splendor. What's that underneath it? Blue cadet?

Like you, I'd leave the sport (if that's what it is) attached to the main plant until next year. Odds are, it will disappear, but if it sticks around, that'd be awesome. I think there already is a named wide-edged sport of Regal Splendor, although the name escapes me right now.

Just picked up Regal Supreme which is supposed to be a wide edged sport of Regal Splendor. Does anyone grow this? Couldn't find a picture/info on HL

Yes, that's Blue Cadet. Nice clumper and fast grower.

Here's a pic of Regal Chameleon, another in the family (a Krossa Regal Sport). It greens up in the center.
