I don't think it's Gold Edger, since there is no margin on the leaves, but August Moon is a distinct possibility. (I know I saw it poppoing up in all sorts of garden centers the year before I got this in a swap! Golden Scepter is also a good possibility.

I'm not 100% sure, but I seem to remember that the flowers were white or very pale, with dark purple streaks.

Gold Edger doesn't have a margin. Check it out in the library. How big is that leaf at 6 o'clock in the last picture?

Ah, when I googled it, most of the images seemed to have a thin margin.

The 6:00 leaf in the bottom picture is probably about 5" long.

August Moon has leaves that are 9 x 8 inches. Gold Edger has leaves that are 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. It's probably not August Moon.

when you get into the plainer hosta... like all yellow ...

you will probably NOT get an ID until your plant matures...

leaf shape is variable ... until maturity ....

and dont get me wrong.. we like trying....

I doubt that hosta is August Moon. Mine is in its second year, and it is not a small hosta. It is already a nice sized medium with some corrugation. It is planted 2 August Moon with 2 Midas Touch. This picture taken June 17, 2013.
