Hosta I.D.

I thought I did really good last year at keeping track and labeling everything I bought, but I have a few that I can not figure out. Here is one that has white backs and seems to be a little unruly. I have looked through the library and through the hosta lists for blue ones and white backs and none of the names ring a bell. One that I know I bought and do not have tagged this year is Bressingham Blue.

IMPOSSIBLE ...

frankly.. it looks like about 150 of my blue green hosta ...

in other words... it wont fit within the ten foot rule

ps: BUT!!!! .. if you have a list of possible names... then we can probably match it ..

Devon, as densely packed as this hosta grows, do you have any concept of how LARGE it will become? Is it a small/medium perhaps? Has it been green all the time this spring?

Do you keep your invoices with the names on there? I always have those available, especially good when I organized my hosta by the source...where I purchased them. Life was much easier that way. :)

if the plant is NOT forced .. and i do recall a poly tunnel ...

you could resurrect this post the minute the first flower bud opens.. and see if anyone else has one flowering at the same point in time.. and looks familiar... though those high zone peeps might not be spot on with flower timing ...
