And THANK YOU to all of you currently serving in the Armed Forces,(including spouses)!

Thank you for all of our men and women who gave their lives for their country to keep what we have here. (Hopefully dumb, greedy politicians don't ruin everything)!!

AND don't forget about The Canadians! Who did more than their fair share of Nazi-Bashing in WWII in Europe, who hit the beaches in Normandy as part of the Allied Forces, and fought like Hell with us in the battles of the Pacific as well!

God bless America. Bless our Peacekeepers, our Defenders, and the Allies always close to us, the Canadians.

My dad was 4F in WWII, only had one lung, but he moved to Mobile and built bombers. My mother worked too, as an aircraft electrician, wiring those bombers. Lots of team effort went into winning that big war.

Sorry I'm late to this one, but I couldn't let it pass.

As a proud son of a man who landed on Iwo Jima and who heard from someone who learned first hand of how war really is hell, I too salute all those who have fought to keep us the land of the free. As long as we remember to hold dear the phrase "In God We Trust", then God will indeed bless America.

I am the proud daughter of a1st Lt. Who went ashore in the first assault wave at Anzio (and wrote his will that night and sent it home to his mother). I always think of today as Memorial Day-it was before we switched to the Monday holiday!
