Things are looking mighty fine and colourful over there, Brandy. Your Wheee! is amazing! That second shot of her is so lovely with the sun/shadow play. I can't think of another hosta that looks as full this early with petioles barely showing. It really is a great shot.

Here is my likewise 2nd yr baby so far showing 12 pips. I can see the yellow margin on some and it's not even an inch out yet, barely close to 1/2" .

Eager to get to the unfurling stage - I plan to shoot many pics of this one.:-)

Thanks, she is still unfurling and has a ways to go... Still has to "spread out" but I counted 9 eyes that have emerged since I last checked... All are just a little more advanced than yours. Good thing I put her in the bigger at the end of last summer!
I'm very pleased with her this year. Though she does look a little lopsided still. But once those other eyes unfurl, she'll be full and huge!
