Mine are situated in quite a lot of sun, dappled shade midday from a young Mountain Ash, but morning and afternoon sun. When I first put them there they fried a bit. Now I am careful to give extra water in hot weather and they have settled in some so they look good all summer. They did well with half day morning only sun before I moved them also and I didn't have to do as much extra watering. I think the key might be that they are in a raised bed. Only 4-6 inches, but it guarantees good drainage. Hope you love yours too.

Sad to say my Pandora's Box did not come back this year. It would have been it's 3rd season in a pot. I think it may have gotten waterlogged and rotted. I usually put mine right in the ground but it was so tiny that I figured it would do better in a pot. Oh well.
