My Razor's Edge, Pineapple Punch, Marilyn Monroe, and Paradise Island all did that (to name just a few!).

I'm surprised everyday by some of the hostas in pots that come alive. I don't think my losses will be as great as I thought.

I lost my first THE Razor's Edge (it has THE in front of it in case you look for it in HostaLibrary). It fell dead of southern blight, first one I ever lost that way. One day lovely, next day falling over dead.

But I got another one, which is not in the middle of a tub of Verna Jean. It is a great hosta.

That looks great! I hadn't thought about using in a pot in place of a Dracena. You have many clever ideas.
Gesila, the same thing has happened to me. I thought that I lost several but they are coming, slowly but surely. So far, I haven't lost one! fingers crossed that they continue to grow.
