    Very Nice!
I started taking pictures of each hosta today so I can put then in my growth record of each. I missed doing a pip count this year . I just seemed to have run out of time and energy after my fall off step ladder while painting and compressing three lower
vertibrae. With all the rains we have had it seems to always being in need of weeding and cleaning up the tree junk!

To me the debris in the leaves is a record, it tells the story of the season...

falling leaves and blooms cover, cool rains wash away...

Thanks for posting. Enjoyed looking. Guardian Angel looked great. I'm on the hunt for a new one to replace one I lost.

Isn't it amazing that all these beautiful leaves are from the same genus hosta?
Big, little, fat, thin, every shade of green and white and gray and yellow in between. The closer you get to each leaf, the more you fall in love with them. And every leaf on the same hosta is not the same.... JOY!

I agree with Babka, but she says it so much more eloquently than I would. (I've always wanted Reptillian, why don't I already own that one?)

Love the close-ups. I haven't done many. Still trying to get pictures of all of mine.

An oldie, but this year caught my eye for elegance. Not sure what it is I got as a split from my Mom's clump

Inspiring! I was moving in closer with the camera as well. Delightful what you see when you look "Inside the Heart of a Hosta." That is the way I see it.

I started with the "heart" pictures as I removed the pecan worms which were clogging the base of the petioles, and random sweet gum leaves as well, since they bring the larva with the debris. I was up to 3am tagging names and such on my new photos. I'm so glad the end of May is here, since I took over 1200 pictures this month, and three digits was all I allowed for the numbering system. I blew it out of the water, and now have corrected the option to four digits. Now I can take up to 9999 per month! When that happens, I need to get a really smart camera that takes dictation for key word input.
:) I'm sure it is possible. Maybe already available.

Undulata Albomarginata, which lost its white margin in a pot.
