Blizzards this time of year are no fair. I sure hope you got your plants covered and they are weathering the storm okay.

Get the snow off your trees and bushes as best you can Don. The snow on the leaves will really weigh branches down and snap them.

Naw, snow is not that heavy, so a blizzard IS an overstatement. It's been snowing non-stop here since this morning, though. The snow itself, not the worst thing ever.

The BAD part is, we've got temps dipping to the mid to high 20's for tonight and tomorrow night, though. No exaggeration there.

Phil, I may be joining you in the 'First Leaves Are Toast' club, buddy! Cardboard etc. can only do so much, eh?

Thanks, Jon. I've knocked some down as I've seen it accumulating. I'll have more to do as it gets colder, of course. I guess having our utilities underground in our neighborhood is a small bonus. Hate to see a branch go through a roof or car, though.

That really sucks Don, not fair after the winter you guys have had, I hope the damage is minimal.

I don't think I ever remember it snowing in May. April 25th is the latest I remember snow.

Maybe that snow will insulate those hostas if the temperate dips.

Thank goodness hostas get a second flush of leaves!
