The sweet little yellow hosta in the front was a seedling that was growing in the gravel at a nursery we used to have here in NC called Hosta Farm. I asked if I could pull it out and have it, and Duck, the owner didn't mind. I remember Ken referring to 'driveway hosta' being the ones you could grow on a driveway with minimal TLC. This seedling was in my front yard where the deer like to graze for a while and I just ignored it. After a few years of survival (and staying such a pretty yellow) I moved it to the back yard.
