Fire Island

This small hosta emerges bright yellow. The foliage will dim a bit as the season goes on, but these amazing petioles will retain their brilliant coloring.

This is one of my favourite early hostas - such a beautiful colour. I have a few pips peeking through on mine, so I know that it is alive!

WOW! I don't think I've every caught a picture of mine that early. It tends to be a later riser in my garden.

This is mine's 3rd year. I love mine. It grows here throughout the season. I had to repot it in a temp home until I can get a pot to suffice it for another couple of years. Here it is yesterday.
