Dividing hosta

I divided a few hosta about 3 weeks ago. When dividing I had a few sections that ended up getting cut off with only 1 eye and VERY little root. I planted them up and all look viable yet. How long should I wait to transplant to the garden...or donate for a sale...or give to a friend?

a year???

it really depends on how they look.. and whether you would be proud to give it away ..

any of us.. knowing its potential.. would take anything in a flash ...

but others may not be happy ... to pay money for something tiny ...

make sense??
