What's up with this Hosta

Looked off the deck and saw this Hosta. Not sure on the name but what could be happening? Normal weather well lots of rain but otherwise ok. They are on separate eyes but are the same plant.

Maybe a vole attack. Or more likely Southern Blight. Check the base of the plant see if you see little orange balls or spores. See the link below.

hosta with a lot of white are more likely to frost.. or freeze ...

btw.. your striptease will cover all of them in a year or two ...

so why not dig this one up ... FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON .. and place it elsewhere ...

to my eye.. it looks like there are fresh new leaves on the division ... so these.. being the oldest.. brings me back to an insult a few weeks/month back.. when it may have gotten too cold ...

if that streaker has seeds.. those are the ones you want to play with.. during winter grow season ...

Are you asking about the damage or the streaking itself? If that was not a "streaker" to begin with it is sporting to one and you are quite lucky!!! Very nice plant!!
