Esther, I don't order many miniatures. However, when spring is three or more weeks late, yes, that is normal to receive them sans leaves, just pips, or even dormant eyes. Just so you know to put the pointy end up, and I'm sure you do, you'll be fine. They'll do the rest.

Glad you got the golf ball and the four pips. Are you going to call it your "Gladys Knight" since it came with four pips? :)

Can't say that I was a big fan of GK & her pips. I think I'll order an aluminum I.D. tag that says Hosta Blue Jay. And one for the heuchie that says Heuchera Sweet Tart. That lil' Tart already has a tiny pink flower on it. I STILL have NOT heard from Casita Azul regarding when they intend to ship my hosta Cameo and my heuchie Ginger Snap!
