Summertime,
And the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin'
And the cotton is high.

Well we're officially into summer and the heat and humidity has been creeping in the last two weeks. Rains this spring have been so persistent that I don't think corn and soybeans crops have been completely planted yet.

Open the link below in another tab so Ella can serenade you thru the pics below....thanks for looking.

Frances Williams - late spring had been good for Frances

Beautiful photos Paul. Your setting looks so lush and verdant. It would be hard for me to pick a favorite of the ones you've posted here, they all look so happy and healthy!

Thanks to all for the comments. It's been a good season for hostas and pics - critter damage of any kind has been minimal and rains plentiful.

Another summer themed song in link below.

I hope it's OK to add another themed summer song (in the link below) from waaay back in my youth...

I'll also add a pic of Sum and Substance, potted in a holding pattern, slated to be planted next spring.

Enjoy the old tune,
;-)

All the hostas look marvelous and the music is terrific, too. Love Ella and Janis...well...she'll always have a little piece of my heart and that link took me back to the Atlantic City Pop Festival in the summer of '69. A very good year.

Your plants are gorgeous, Paul (as always)!
I especially love Victor and Fire Opal....I love them both in my garden and it's wonderful to see yours. I'm hoping to see a pic of your Color Festival soon.

Nice pics,Paul! I notice my Stripteases are not as good this year, also. We have had a ton of rain also, but I think it was the spring freezes we kept having, where I had to keep covering them, and removing the cover when it got warmer later in the day. Of course some hostas are better than ever. Phil

Indeed Paul !!!

Gorgeous, every last one. :)

Krugerrand has been on my short list for a while now, I think I need to buckle down and order it already.

Victor is another . . . I've only ever seen him in your garden and Vanessa's, but oh he is a stud !
