I think it's a dud. It was nice looking last year when we bought it but this year there is only a tiny nub sticking out of the ground. I will not buy it again.

Mine is new this spring, but so far I like it. I am assuming it will be a good grower because it has so much green in it. Time will tell.

Picked a liner this spring, so very much a wait and see.

Mine's new this year too, from Naylor. They sent two divisions so I potted them up separately. It is a patented plant. I figure if Walters Gardens went through the expense of getting a patent it must be pretty special. I can always find room for those little ones. Here's the photo from the Walters site:

I'm expecting a Sparkler next week from Made in the Shade. I sure hope it's not a dud, as I think it's really pretty, and being small, it will fit into my hosta garden under the tree very well. Its shape and coloration will be a great contrast to what's already there.
