Great series of photos. I'm a fan of the white backs with the ruffled or wavy edges. This one shows a lot of the backs and the contrast points out the edges. A very classy specimen, Paul.

I love progressions!

One can see big changes year to year (except for maybe 2010 and 2011). Outstanding!

Those are great progression pictures, Paul. And your CE is lovely. I planted mine in 2007, northern exposure and it's gotten taller than I anticipated, now hiding T. Flavocircinalis. First you want your hostas to grow and before long you want them to stop. LOL

The progressions compress time and allow us to see the changes that our minds can't remember. It's hard sometimes to remember what a hosta looked like several years ago. That's why I take so many pictures. It's also great to see the lifespan of hosta I don't own so I can add and subtract (never) from my wish list. Paul started this years progressions, hope everyone else follows suit.

Paul: I don't have CE. Yours is lovely. I do llke the white backs, blue tops and rippled edges. I have Neptune which has similar characteristics.

Irawon: I'm finally at the point where I am also wishing some would stop growing, after years of impatience. I have many that are now mature and just the right size.I never thought I would be in that predicament!
