Paula, all I've found on Lodestar is that it's possibly a tri-or tetraploid, and I have no idea if that translates into a more stable form or not. Also, it doesn't set viable seed.

Paula, I don't see what's to be unstable. I don't have it. I haven't seen it in real life. That said, it look pretty normal to me without any strange "reversion" traits. I don't know for sure, but given it's a Wade hosta, I would think it's stable.
