Unfortunately there were a lot of infected Striptease sold in the mid to late 2000's.... comment from the Hosta Library HVX page..."The most commonly seen ones are plants of 'Gold Standard', 'Striptease', and 'Sum and Substance', but other common varieties are being reported infected in large numbers. " It was so bad, I waited to replace mine till I could get one from a hostaphiles garden that I knew would be clean.

On the positive side it's a good grower so you can have a nice plant in 3-4 years. Now anyone specializing in hosta should have clean stock.
