I like all of your potted hostas. Do you bring them indoors during the winter?

Do I see a plant tag in that pot? What does that say it is?

Sandy, it (the tag) just says hosta plantain lily. But on the bottom, I didn't notice until I was repotting her in the $1 cheap pot I got at Lowes...(I can't afford a nice one this week. I had to take my kitty, Phoebe, to the vet and get some medicine for her. But, it'll do for now. ) Anyway, it says on a sticker on the bottom of the nursery pot F. Aureomarginata. So maybe I was right? She is potted and happy for now.

Plantingman, no I haven't brought them in during the winter. I haven't needed to the past 2 winters anyway. I brought the babies that had already broke the surface in during the snow and ice storms in March, though.

Probably is that, then. Sometimes the pots are tagged and the plant just has a generic label. Nice looking plant.

Thank you Sandy! Here's a picture of it in it's cheap but still nice new pot.

Nice plant; grows up into a handsome hosta. My first hosta was F. Aureomarginata. This is it a couple of weeks ago.

It's a Walmart one, too. Just like my U. Albomarginata. Not impressed much with Walmart, but they do turn out beautiful and healthy plants for a box store!
