I received my Rainforest Sunrise in April this year from Hallson Gardens. I'm very happy with it.

Mine gets about 4 hours of afternoon sun. Yours is adorable.

A real baby. Just planted a month ago. But I like what I see already. Nice spiral of leaves happening.

I love how each Rainforest Sunrise has it's own personality!

Here's mine starting it's third year. The sun rises on it every morning!

It looks like it is buried too deep. Hard to be sure with an overhead shot, but it sure looks like those rocks are higher than the top of the crown.

I think it will perk up if you scrape those rocks back and have a look at how deep it is and correct as needed.

Eleven, never thought about that comparison before. I just planted Paradigm in dappled shade and so far it's green/light green. Very excited to see how the color changes.

Mbug, mine looked like yours in it's first year. Every flush of leaves that came up were a different color than the ones that were already there.

This is an interesting topic. Love seeing the time line for different plants of the same variety. I have two of them now. One potted by itself, the other in a tub with 2 other hosta.

Here is the one I got in 2012, standing alone. This June

and then, I just gotta share this picture with you guys, you can appreciate what I see in it. The heart of Rainforest Sunrise. Makes me feel like Georgia O'Keefe.....sigh....
