This clematis is not supposed to be propped up like I have it. It's habit is to sprawl closer to the ground and weave itself throughout shrubs, other perennials, etc. I let it do its "thing" naturally for the past 2years, then decided I was missing out on the impact...so I placed a tomato cage on top of it, tucked the plant inside cage as well as I could....and....voila!

Anyone have one of these?

The plastic netting behind it was supposed to 'train it' lol, but it was having none of that, thank you! Lol
