Faye, did you get yours last year or this spring?
Mine, which arrived last year, is in a pot with another hosta, the fragrant Aqua Velva. I think both of them are eager to live alone, because they are trying to take over the pot.

Here is the latest picture with Niagara Falls in bloom.
Notice it seems to have developed a bit of the ruffle, and it is sure edging out Aqua Velva.

I got it last spring Moc and yours looks way bigger then mine but at least it didn't die. It is the one I wanted to get big as fast as possible. Maybe next season. My one Empress Wu is growing like a big weed and it too has 6 shoots and got it last summer with 2.. Win some wait for others. I guess that is the three year rule

Speaking of Empress Wu, mine arrived a week ago. I had her taped up to avoid falling over. Should not have bothered. That fancy lady had popped her tape off, and was growing already. And I only gave her a small pot, because I'm putting her in the ground or in a huge huge pot, haven't decided yet. I hate to think of tree roots messing with this diva. Mixed emotions, you know? She is special.
