No. BU doesn't have that shaped leaf.

Here's mine.

Mine looks like Steves...not nearly as blue as yours, and with rounded, downward cupped leaves.

As to why it isn't growing bigger, could there be root competition hindering it?

Maybe it's Halcyon?

Yeah, my other BU looks more like the ones y'all have pictured here. I have 2 other Halcyons that aren't quite the same as this one either. This leaf is too elongated. And by 5 years age, a Halcyon should have more of the mature leaf shape.

Not enough root competition to warrant a failure to thrive by environmental factors. All its neighbors are doing just fine.

Unless someone can offer up an identity that would suggest it's a slow grower.

It could be plain Tokudama. It's really slow.
