Magnificent! Your pic brings out the blue in a truly impressive Blue Angel. I think our wet spring has given the hostas an extra boost. Mine have done well too, including Blue Angel, although not quite a match for your beauty. (Gotta get out the tape measure.)

How 'tall' is your BA, Jim? I'm looking for 3 very tall (3' +) at maturity. Your Blue Angel looks terrific.

My hosta all started shrinking last year--a number of them had been over 3 ft wide for years before that. I always referred to them as my monster hostas. Since I moved all of them to new homes, they haven't regained their former size yet, but certainly are looking much healthier and promising!

In the meantime, I'm wondering about my fairly new Great Expectations. One poster claimed it would get 5 ft wide! I had no idea--not that I object, but I'm wondering if I have a big enough space available!

Anyway, here is to the 5 ft wide Great Expectations I am greatly expecting to have in a few more years. LOL

the quick growing Guacamole and Striptease rule supreme this year in the garden... My Sum and Substance however is not messing around, and will be a contender next year. The Blue angel is slowly moving forward, and should be a mature plant in 2-3 more years.

This is the largest thus far. I was told it was an S Elgan.
