Well I was able to get some old retainer wall bricks FREE, so I finally decided to build something I have been wanting awhile. I couldn't find any bricks to work with mine to make nice corners, so I changed it up a bit and bought some grey pavers to stack in a cube on the corners. Otherwise the bricks I have would look wrong as they only have one side textured. I didn't want to cut any more bricks then I had to !
So my blocks were sort of a varying color from age.I think they all started grey, but they have made some changes since then. I thought the grey pavers would off set the color nice and hopefully work with the house colors.

I am very bad at overall design. I can do some artwork , but the big picture and mix of things is not my strong point.

My wife has wanted a little more sun garden area, so until this gets shaded out we will have some. Also the top of the wall will make an EXCELLENT shelf for pots ! I will probably be buying some more blue ones ;)

Well enough chatter, here are the pics.
a ALMOST before pic..

and a AFTER pic.
