Plant L. Banana Bay and Foxfire Palm Sunday in my garden. HaHa!! I have Mango Tango. Those are great selections. I've had FPS on my list for quite some time now. Loved looking at your pics.

Irawon....we hang out in your part of the province for the summer (closer to Kingston actually) so I'll be checking out the goodies at Rideau Woodland Ramble and Budds and Whitehouse . You have some great places to treasure hunt.

You are absolutely right, Jan. I've spent many happy hours at those places. I hope to get to Goldenbrook and Hosta Fever one of these days too.

Driving on highways is problematic for me right now. I had cataract surgery and retina surgery comes next for a macular pucker in the same eye. Losing one's sight isn't fun if you love hostas as much as I do. I'm hoping the next op does the trick. I may have already missed Don Budd's hosta garden showing. His own hostas are spectacular if you haven' been.

I was there on Sunday.... Carel recommended L.S.B.B. to me. I didn't buy anything this trip, but will be back for Satsifaction, LSBB, and Little treasure. Honestly FPS does nothing for me.

If you go to Goldenbrook in Blackstock, you should also go the Handlebar Hostas in Uxbridge enroute to Hosta Fever in Barrie. Handlebar has many hostas growing in the ground in their woods and they dig up the one that you choose.

Thanks for the travel tips Paula! Have you been to Lamrocks (sp?) north of Oshawa........worth a stop? And I think there is a grower close to Orono?
I need to plan a serious road trip.

Yes, I have been to Lamrock's, I used to live in Port Perry and it is a couple of miles south of there. I don't know about the one closer to Orono... a little research is in order!
