Oooohhh, my favorite variegation!

One which might come close to this is Smooth Sailing. I have a 2nd year plant, an irregular narrow green margin same color as this, and the middle is same color as this as well. However, I do not know what a mature leaf pattern looks like. Sure hope you get a good ID for this, I'd think about getting one myself.

Actually it looks like On Stage to me as well. Probably in a lot of shade.

Let's see, zone 3, North Dakota, On Stage...probably emerged last week? lol. Add that up, and if it is in shade as well, I'd go with On Stage.

I've checked out On Stage at the Hosta Library and the photos look similar. I have 2 of this plant - one gets morning sun and the other gets dappled sun beginning at about 4 pm this time of year . The photo posted at the beginning of this thread is the one that gets morning sun; the other plant is a two tone light to medium green as the leaf in the upper right corner of this photo. The plants have been slow growers but well worth the wait. Thank you for your help.

Of course....it is almost a 100% match.....but this is the shot I took Under The Yella Umbrella!

And here on May 13 2013. I had not purchased the yella umbrella at this time. I think it was the sun lighting up the translucent leaves, which were turning a more golden chartreuse color

It looks like my On Stage too but i was thinking in my z5 it just unfurled all the leaves and still a very tight clump(not much legs yet lol!!), i guess your z3 is ahead of my z5 or maybe yours in a sunnier spot, its fun to guess a name lol!!!
