Let's see the piecrust edge plants.

Here is my Niagara Falls, my favorite of the clan.

This is not a super pie crusty example, but here's my Marilyn Monroe.

This looks like it's pie edged. I've been trying to identify it, but it's one of my favorites with that wavy edge and yellow color. It always catches my eye.

thistleandmaize I think your hosta could be "Defy Gravity"......

RE: Another piece of Pie.

Thanks Jim! I'll look into that one. This one has been hard to nail down and I moved it from another area so it's been a mystery but an enjoyable
One

Better view right side up...it's a pretty hosta what ever it's name is ;-)

RE: Another piece of Pie.

"Ummm" okay, whatever.

 o
RE: Another piece of Pie.

So it posted upside down? Whatever. It looks correct in my browser. But thanks.

RE: Another piece of Pie.

don't get mad I was just messing around. I'm sorry if I gave offence.

 o
RE: Another piece of Pie.

Yes, it did post upside down. I was going to suggest it wasn't a pie but Pineapple Upsidedown Cake. ;-)

Here's my Dancing Queen:

This is Dandy Lion. I'm loving this hosta right now. You can tell that some of the leaves look like they have a piecrust edge to them. It's a hybrid and one of the parents is Green Piecrust, so it must get it from that side.

Thistle, might your unknown be Sunpower? Whenever I post pictures from my iPhone I have strange issues with them being sideways and upside down sometimes. Did you post from an iPhone by chance? When I look at this thread on my phone it looks correct, but on the laptop your picture is indeed upside down.

Fun, I hope my new Seducer looks pretty like yours does next year! It's got a lot of burn on the edges this year in spite of the fact that it's not in that much sun. That Dandy Lion is very pleasing!

RE: Another piece of Pie.

ThistleandMaize, might it be Marrakech? Looks a bit like mine although mine have longer leaf tips...

Here is one of my new pie crusted beauties, Bridal Falls, very quickly becoming a favourite this year!

Tepelus, you've got piecrust edges all around your center hosta! LOL

RE: Another piece of Pie.

Lovely piecrust shots, every one.

Funn - I love your Seducer. So bummed I lost mine.

Don - Spartacus will be shouting - "I'm Spartacus."
