I think it's undulata albomarginata. It's a really old, reliable hosta. It's the cemetery iris of the hosta world.

Glenn, myhosta.be says it's 16' wide and 12' tall. Of course that depends on how well you water it. U. albomarginata will survive most any treatment and look nice in the spring.

Mine is in a pot, so I refrained from mentioning size. Mine is about 28" across. Hosta will continue to get wider and wider if you don't divide them. So, hypothetically you could have a 50" wide u. albomarginata. They don't get any taller, though.

Mine had southern blight a few years ago and has not fully recovered it's white edge.
