Don....those three I do not have......what are you DOING!!!
    ...sigh

Well, I've admired Alligator Shoes for a long time. It's becoming an itch that needs scratching. And Green Gold? I'll have to look it up, It is NICE in the best sort of way.

Keep it up. The fact that you posted this late this afternoon means you were out gardening (i.e. tending hosta) all morning and came in to share the best tidbits with your 1,000+ compadres. Thanks for the pictures.

I bet you even cut the grass to keep peace and your reputation in the neighborhood?

Thanks, Mocc....Yep, caught me, I even mowed the grass...More to keep peace with my wife though, know what I mean? ; ) Oh, I'm loving 'Spring Fling' too!

Don, love your Lunar Moth and what is that Heuchera (next to FA)?

Green Gold is a great grower and IMHO, an under rated hosta. Hey Moc, here's my four year Green Gold. I paid less than a buck for this one in 2010, it was single scrawny little eye, less than 4 inches tall.

Don, you've done a wonderful job spacing your hostas. We spent the evening moving hostas that had overgrown their spot -- in two years! We're being more careful now and using hostas in pots to fill the empty spaces.

Thanks, guys, I appreciate the compliments. Coming from you all, it means a lot. A more satisfying plant than the Hosta I have yet to grow. Hostafrenzy, I'm sorry but I don't know what variety of Heuchera I have. It's my first and only (so far) Heuchera. I spied it at WalMart for 5 bucks and snapped it up. The tag simply read 'Coral Bells', and I've been too lazy to look it up. I do like it, though. Think I'll get a few more of 'em eventually. : )

    Regards,

    LS Kaleidoscope is gorgeous, Don.
I got mine in 2011, but it is not thriving. First it had foliar nematodes, and now it sits around doing nothing. I'm glad to see it can be beautiful.

Thanks, Mocc. I love it too. Sorry yours is doing so poorly. I hope it picks up this year. Y'know, I really wasn't familiar with it at all, but Green Mountain had it so cheap, and I really wanted a Lakeside. I pulled the trigger. Ordered it along with a 4 dollar 'Lakeside Coal Miner'. It's truly a beautiful variety, and I'm extremely pleased with it. 'Lakeside Coal Miner' ain't too bad, either. Here's a LS Kaliedoscope leaf detail.
