Anthracnose maybe or possibly cut worm damage. Cut worm damage stays in place. Anthracnose connects the dots and will make your leaves ugly in no time. A fungicide for the anthracnose and I still battle cut worms.

Looks like some of those holes don't go all the way through. My guess is Saw Flies. Weapon of choice Spinosad.

My Diamond Tiara looks the same way. Probably saw flies. By the way, these Tiaras have some of the thinnest leaves of any cultivars I've measured. :(

It's a four line something. Chris identified it on my So Sweet early this year. It's a sucking insect that stays close to where they're born. Don't move around much. They are supposed to hide when you look for them.

At first, it was only on the So Sweet. I squirted it really well with something I got at the organic store. I saw one or two damaged leaves on a couple of others, but it stopped and second flush covered most of the damage.

No, I just squirted the leaves that were damaged. The article said they stay really close to where they're born, so I figured that was the place to squirt.

Thanks so much for the link, bk. Do you remember what brand of spray you're using?

Captain Jack's Dead Bug Brew (spinosad) works with very well. Certified for organic gardening, and it doesn't leave a cloudy residue on the leaves. You can get just a little spray bottle and spray the leaves in the immediate vicinity of the damage.

Actually, I went to look at what I used and it wasn't the organic spray. I used Bayer 3 in 1 insect and disease control. The stuff the organic place sold me was Captain Jack's dead bug. It was still in the gardening shed, however.
