Maybe Niagara Falls? Some other possibilities could be Clovelly, Marilyn Monroe and Manhattan, although those are a bit newer. I'm not sure how "old" you mean. Could also be Green Piecrust.

Could be Green Piecrust if it's an older variety. What's the story behind this plant? How did you come by it?

Looks like 'Queen of the Seas'...but it could possibly be 'Manhattan', 'Sea Current', 'Sea Drift', 'Sea Frolic', 'Green Piecrust', or 'Grey Piecrust'...or something else that is large, bluish green, and lightly corrugated with a piecrust edge...

Or possibly 'Komodo Dragon'???

Ruffles looks too small and regular for 'Komodo Dragon', at least to me. I'd say 'Queen of the Seas' if it was bluer in the spring, or 'Niagara Falls' if not. I guess it could be 'Green Piecrust', but I thought that one draped more.

The leaves look wrong and probably too big for 'Clovelly'. With that many ruffles, I think you should have more corrugation on 'Manhattan'.

I don't know the Hosta's name. And I am not sure I will ever be comfortable calling you DIRTPIG! :)

I think I'm going with Queen of the Seas.
I hate it when you lose the top half of the tag.All I have left is the bottom and all it says is shady oaks.
I have Niagara Falls and Komodo Dragon in different spots of the gardens,with full tags.Now if I could just find where I put Marilyn Monroe??She's out there somewhere.Maybe tonight after work.

You will be the talk of the neighborhood pretty quick. Like Ludi up on his ladder taking pictures of his hosta....

If the tag is from Shady Oaks it is not Green Piecrust and you are likely right that it is QOTS. I doubt Green Piecrust was ever in TC, it's such an old variety. The story of how you acquired the Hosta really narrows down the choices and is an important part of an ID.
