and one of the naming conventions that turned out a little sad... Sunlight Sister came from Little Sister... and I think SS is actually kind of a lackluster plant... but the margined sport of SS is a prettier plant with the unfortunate name Step Sister. I had great Step Sisters for sale and couldn't get my cost out of them... that name just set people's teeth on edge.

I still owe you a hosta - come by and we'll dig you one of each!

Thanks Jim, it wasn't from you. Got it from a garden in Fridley, It was just pips when I got it. I wasn't looking for Sunlight Sister when I bought it - price was right so gave it a try. I'm not disappointed at all with what I got - just trying to ID.

and is that the blue of the sky reflected.. or hosta color ...

rippled like that .. and green.. reminds of of furrowed soil .. which usually brings me back to green acres ... if it is .. or will be.. a large plant ... considering the size of your 2 year old plant ...

Figure it has montana or montana Mac. in it. Leaves don't droop, they are held up and outright. Here's a 2012 pic for color.
