Early in the season I had the local hosta lady out at the house and I was showing her my hostas. I had this one that i did not know what it was and it looked pretty strange.

She said she thought it looked like her H. Embroidery that she paid quite a bit of money for years ago. She asked if I knew any one that had it. I did not and was not sure how I would have came to own it.

I went down to my Grandfathers house a few weeks later and we were looking at his hostas. Lo and behold there was a small clump of H. Embroidery. I asked him where he got it. He said Jane, the hosta lady, had given him it a couple of years ago and he had just moved it this year because where it was he kept mowing over it!

Here is mine as of tonight.

That is a gallon pot it is in, also. What a strange hosta. Now I know where i got mine.
