My Francee is huge. It's probably 48" wide in a pot! I got it in 2009 as a mistake. It was supposed to be Wide Brim, so they sent me another Wide Brim. It's an incredible, plain Jane hosta. It grows quickly, looks neat throughout the year, good substance and seems not to be susceptible to Anthracnose.

I think it leaped again this year.

Sometimes, newer is not necessarily better.

OMG, Phil, I'm fainting at the sight of your Frozen Margarita! Whaaaaaaaa......that's the whole bottle of Jose Quervo in one big gulp. I had no idea that little cute thing I was delivered a couple of days ago.....and then another one arrived today......would GET SO BIG. I thought it was mild mannered, but no it is a green hulk. What ARE you feeding those hosta!

Yeah.mocc,Frozen Margarita is a sport of Fried Bananas,and my Fried Bananas gets really big,ergo,so should Frozen Margarita. Mine is in lots of morning sun,so it really leaps every year. Phil

Glad you posted that picture. I was worried that I moved my Rainforest Sunrise to a shadier location. Yours seems to be thriving.
