Hosta 'Okazaki Special', apparently now known as H. ''Mikawa-no-Y

Oops, the subject line length limitations cut me off, again.

The apparently currently accepted name of this cultivar is H. 'Mikawa-no-Yuki'.

This cultivar has several, though seemingly obscure, progeny.

Is anyone else keeping this for breeding purposes, or is it a 'dead end', please.

fwiw,

hh

i wonder who cut it off the yuki???

seems more like a marital issue.. rather than a hosta name..

Yes I feel it has lots to work with for hybrdizing.
