Mine's finally starting to look like something. It's been slow on the pickup, but I guess the old adage is true ... leap 3rd year.

I have no intentions to use it for breeding, but I could understand why a more serious hybridizer would consider it.

I adore it as a specimen for the garden. The overall form and leaf shape tickle my fancy and I can't wait for it to fill in more over the coming years.

I too did not know it was a good breeding hosta - I don't do a lot of that, but I bought it because the leaves were so luxurious. Planted in 2014, it more than tripled in size last year. I hope it does the same this year. It is an elegant hosta.
